The 2009-2010 Season is sponsored by The jungle is jumpin' with jazz in this exciting Disney classic! Join Mowgli, Baloo, King Louie and the gang as they swing their way through madcap adventures and thwart the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan. Specially adapted from the beloved film, this musical includes all your favorite Disney tunes, like "The Bare Necessities," and "I Wan'na Be Like You." With colorful characters and that toe-tapping jungle rhythm, The Jungle Book KIDS is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for audiences of all ages. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Next summer, CTC will partner again with Carlisle Summerfair to produce the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice classic Saturday, July 3 at 7:00 PM Sunday, July 4 at 2:00 PM Friday, July 9 at 7:00 PM Saturday, July 10 at 7:00 PM The saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable. Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock 'n' roll, this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless. This colorful retelling of the biblical story about Joseph, his uncanny abilities and his designer coat sings out to young and old alike with a score which is wall to wall hits - including "Close Every Door" and "Any Dream Will Do." Click here for audition requirements and details. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Next fall, CTC will perform its largest musical to date, the tale as old as time Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. This classic musical is one of the most beautiful love stories ever told. It’s filled with unforgettable characters, lavish sets and costumes, and dazzling production numbers, including “Be Our Guest” and the beloved title song. Experience the romance and enchantment of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at the Carlisle Theatre! Stay tuned for audition and performance information. Fiddler on the Roof no longer appears on our schedule for the following reason: "FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is highly restricted due to the current national tour. The tour has been granted exclusivity within a 100 mile radius of any of their performance venues. So, unfortunately, the rights will not be available until after the tour has ended.
